About us

Evangeliska Brödraförsamlingen in Stockholm is an congregation with roots dating back to the 18th century, growing out of the moravian awakening in Germany, and is a free standing part of the Church of Sweden. Our history is rich and filled with moving life stories, and the Moravians were the first to send out missionaries. Many Christian denominations count the Moravian church as an inspiration, the Methodist movement, the Pentecostal movement and Swedish Evangelical Mission, among others. We believe that our congregation still has an important role to play in our city, in reaching people with the gospel about Jesus! You find us in the heart of the city, at Sibyllegatan 13.
